About Us

As you know, there are many homeless veterans in our community that are without proper food, shelter, and essential medical care everyday, due to a variety of factors, including: low wages, job loss, injury, illness, age, domestic violence, and even divorce. While all of us are susceptible to hard times, our veterans are at an even higher risk, and statistics show that they make up the largest number of the homeless population

There can be no bigger travesty of war than to see so many of our veterans living under bridges, in the parks, and in our shelters. The numbers are astounding to say the least. The reality is that over 200,000 of our veterans are homeless and sleeping on the streets on any given day. Here at C.V.H.V. we are determined to help as many of our local veterans as possible.
